We took off for a "vacation". After all we worked for 5 or 6 weeks straight, so are due for a few weeks off. Today's adventure was driving. We set out to beat the weather and darkness over the Siskyou pass, the highest point on I-5. We nearly made it, but the last 40 miles were in the dark. Snow surrounded us in the mountains, it looked like a couple of feet up high, but the roads were clear.
