Oregon at last! We spent some time in a great book store we go to whenever we pass this way, in Gold Beach. Then just up the coast. The Oregon coast is truly rugged and pristine. Not nearly as much traffic this far north. The state parks are far superior to those in California. $12 with hook ups- a good deal. We are luxuriating. Nice sites, well spread out with lots of vegetation between them. Clean facilities, free showers and real hot water. Nice people, no shady yahoos. And best of all, a minimal number of common courtesy regulations. The dog can go with us on trails and beaches.
