We are longtime and devoted REI customers. Often going to Seattle is a day anchored by a visit to REI. This week we wanted to replace a pair of boots that had self destructed.
They are Zamberlains, Italian made and about 9 years old. Just out of curiosity sew took them into REI to show them that the rubber midsole had deteriorated. To our surprise, we were given a refund! Naturally we spent it on a new pair. What a great retailer they are. The benefit is that we buy all of our outdoor gear there.
