Climbing Out of Seattle

On any nice day the view of Mt. Rainier is startling. From the air especially so. When climbing out of Seatac it is even more so if you are lucky enough to have a window seat on the right side, at the right time on a clear day.

Other cities also have charm, the view of San Diego bay is hard to beat, so is the skyline of New York, and the bay and bridges in San Francisco. But here we have everything- mountains all around, the lakes and Puget Sound.

We are on the way to a work engagement. A nice change of pace from our life of leisure. It is good that we get paid for this, it is not all that much fun.
