I am not a craftsman. I was raised by one, and tried to pay attention. Well, when compelled I did. I am a better student now, some 50 years later, and have a friend who is willing to teach me and let me help when he builds a house.
Since I don't have to make a living doing this, its fun! There is a great deal of satisfaction in the work, and working with the guys is a positive change of pace. As the day goes by you can see real evidence of what you have done.
