Mini Restaurant Review- Java Bean Coffee House

Every once in a while you "find" something special. Others may have found it first and promoted it before, but the finding of it is personal. That is one of the things that make hospitality a vocation.
In Ballard on 24th Ave NW is Java Bean Coffee House. I was travelling with a Barista extrodinaire. We both chose the Cafe Mole. Advertised as 3 chocolates hand ground, with a hint of cayenne and a couple of shots of shade grown organic free trade coffee. The barista steamed the milk to a perfect creamy froth. The flavors were all there, a real mouthful of afternoon warmth and joy.
Nice warm northwest coffee house decor. Carefully selected baked goods from all the best local bakers.
