Plain, Pure and Simple

If you are interested in economics as the analysis of facts and statistics, and who isn't, you should read Professor Michael Perry. In his blog Tuesday he cites a bit of Thomas Sowel's writing. Read it. Read the comments- they will make you think for a minute. And if your reaction to this is anything that contains the words "Yeah, but..." just can it. However, if you can add some salient example like Sowel's, please add a comment to do so.  Not the obscure guy in some obscure place who first thought of an invention- they one who made it happen, impacted the world.  Gates comes to mind.  Plain, pure and simple.
