31 Ways to Smile

It has been a few years since I have been to Baskin-Robbins. But as soon as I walked in I had to smile. What a great place! it is not cool, up to date or in any way cutting edge. But it is comforting. Our guests from the old country were tickled to be able to have a sample of whatever they chose. Where they live such a possibility isn't even considered.

I wish it were different, but our local Baskin-Robins image is piss poor. Deservedly so. The signage is a disgrace, with the measures taken to repel birds also being repellent to humans. And that it is located barely inside the Port Angeles city limits is too bad. No strolling along the port and stopping in. The only people who may go here on a whim are those going to the repugnant sports bar dive hole that shares the parking lot. Unfortunately, if you want to have an ice cream on the patio, you are sitting in the shared parking lot. Whoever located this site was probably high at the time. I hope they have sobered up. If this is not the case, they are simply idiots.
