Thumb Sharpening

Fishing, hunting, cooking all require sharp knives. I had a sharpening session after my knives were worn a bit dull on an elk. But I used my thumb as a jig, a guide to ensure I maintained a 20* angle between the stone and the blade. The result? A flat sided thumb with a hole ground into it. Ouch.
