Brasserie Cognac- NYC Restaurant

Located north of Time Square, this is a convenient place for theater goers. It has the right feel to extend an evening of fantasy, letting you feel like you are dining in Paris. Of course, in NYC every other restaurant has the "classic" Paris cafe-bistro-brasserie decor package found in, well, Hollywood? Menu written on mirrors, beveled glass, dark wood, cafe and bistro chairs, brass details, lighting sconces, the list goes on and on. Some do it better, some more tackily.

It was Valentines Day, and the reservation was handled without a glitch on OpenTable.com .

As I write this a week later, that is all I remember. It was good, we enjoyed ourselves, value was fair. I would not go back. O would not avoid it. No reason to.
