Seventeen days into our eighteen night stay the hotel has begun a campaign to eject us like a foreign body. This has nothing to do with the great, helpful staff. No, this goes much deeper.
I began noticing little things. The elevator no longer required a room key to get to the floors above the lobby. A security test breach by Skynet? Next our doorlock required more and more force to latch it and lock it when closing it.
The TV lapses into a coma- still on but no sound or picture.
This morning I woke at 8:00 AM to an ominous droning vibration. Like a machine was trying to burrow into our walls. Instantly I thought of the spiders in the Matrix.
