When you are fishing for dinner, a nice stringer of pan sized trout is a great result for a few hours effort. M seems to have gotten the hang of it and is justifiably proud of herself. Thanks to the tutelage of our good friend, she is now feared by these fish.
What the photo doesn't show are those she was able to safely release. We cooked these in foil, filled with lemon, butter and onions, over the fire. They made a good appetizer for the group.
