It is our 14th anniversary this year. Not a milestone, unless, like me, you have a hard time staying married. This one is a record for me. How did that happen?
My wife is an almost perfect match for me. We really understand each other well. We like to argue a bit, and manage to keep it all in perspective. We have a set of rules that we wrote before we were married, and we re-visit them to ensure we adhere to them. We laugh a lot. We tolerate. We enjoy mutual respect. We really, really like each other.
Sure, I could go into a bunch of mushy stuff about her, but I think I will just tell her over a nice breakfast. Maybe a coffee toast.
