Sept 19: Concarneau

This is an old port on the Atlantic, fortified since it was founded. It has a nice section called a "Cite Medievale", that is a tourist attraction. We have been here several times and wanted to show it to the kids as a day trip. Also here is a nice big marche, and other things to see and do.

We started the day at the market. I had forgotten how big it is, and we spent quite a while strolling among the stalls. Maryvonne found a nice scarf that she bought, and the kids were delighted with the variety of things in which they were interested. Those things to which they were drawn was telling. Sid and Tiffany spent time at the clothing vendors, Matt and Anna spent their time at the food stalls.

I took some short videos, which will be posted along with an entire album of our best photos when we are back home. Most of the photos I am posting from here have been taken

It is enjoyable to be surrounded by family. Of course for all of us it is an adjustment.
