Sept 20: Blogging

Just a word on blogging from the road, in France. This blog is being written on my tiny Pocket PC, and being posted via email. The photos are mostly taken by cell phone and sent to the Pocket PC via BLuetooth, or a few are taken in my camera, and after reducing the size, I move the SD card to the Pocket PC and copy the photo into memory. Photos are tehn attached to the email.

A couple of shortcomings- I can't regulate how the pictures and text are formatted. If the photo is taken in portrait orientation, it will end up on its side in the blog. I can't put photos into the text where they belong. They are all at the beginning. And, I can't make the posts come in order. When I get to a place where I can email, the posts in my memory all go in the order of size, and that is how they appear on the blog. So, you dear reader, will have to deal with all that. Good luck!

On the happy side, we now know that all McDonalds here have FREE wifi access, so I can email whenever we stop at one. Not too often, but fairly regularly.
